“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
When thinking about this week’s blog we had several ideas that related to cold calling. But discussing the blog, we both came to the conclusion that there is nothing more important this week than voting. We decided to lend our voice to encourage everyone to support our country and exercise their right to vote.
We are so fortunate that we are citizens of the United States and have the freedom to choose our elected leaders. It is important that we support the democratic process. Voting is a right that generations of Americans have struggled to win and preserve. Not voting is giving up that right.
We were brought up to revere our country and all that it stands for. We are all proud Americans. It is important that we remember this and come together as a country. We must re-confirm our commitment to our shared values and faith in one another. It’s time we all come together for the sake of our country. Make the commitment and exercise your right to vote!
This was written by two women, one from Massachusetts and one from North Carolina. Our politics may be different, but our commitment to our country is exactly the same. We all love our country!
